Tacos are a staple at our house but we can’t seem to find any taco seasoning that doesn’t have at least one ingredient we aren’t allergic to, so we’ve gotten used to making our own. This recipe works well with about 2 lbs. meat or meat substitute of your choice.
Taco Seasoning Recipe (top 8 free, gluten free, vegan)
- 1 T. chili powder
- 1 1/2 t. ground cumin
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- 1/2 t. paprika
- 1/4 t. onion powder
- 1/4 t. oregano
- 1/4 t. sweet pepper flakes
- Mix all ingredients together and stir until fully combined.
- Stir into moist, warm ground beef (approx. 2 lbs ground beef per recipe)
3 calories, <1g fat, 0g saturated fat, 0mg cholesterol, 150mg sodium, 0.5g carbohydrates, <1g dietary fiber, 0g sugars, 0g protein
